Veseys Flower Bulbs & Seeds Fall 09 Fundraising Campaign

Thank you for choosing to use Veseys top quality Seeds, Dutch Bulbs and Perennials for your organization's fundraising project. We hope your efforts will be both fun and successful. Enclosed are tips to assist you with your efforts.

Enclosed you will find:

• A six page colour brochure which contains photos and prices for all the items you are selling as well as an individual salesperson’s order form;
• Payment Collection Envelopes for each member;
• Postage Paid Envelope for returning your Master Order Form;
• Master Order Form. Chairperson - please use this form when placing your total group's order. Please remember that payment must be made with a single cheque or money order from your organization made payable to Veseys Bulbs. Individual cheques from your customers will not be accepted.

Once you're ready to get your fundraising project started, simply follow the steps listed below:

1. The full colour brochure was designed to help your organization in promoting your fundraising efforts. Every member of your volunteer sales team should be given one of these brochures. They can keep track of who and what they’ve sold on the order form found on page 5 of that brochure. Ask your members to write your organization’s name on the back page of the colour brochure. They should also include their own name and phone number on the back page of the brochure as well.
2. Each member of your group should also be given a Payment Collection Envelope. Ask your members to write your organization’s name on the Payment Collection Envelope. We suggest that you set October 1st as your order due date since the Master Order Form MUST arrive at Veseys no later than October 15th. We’ve included a space on the Payment Collection Envelope for you to indicate the due date as a reminder to your members/sellers.
3. As you get closer to your order deadline, ask each seller to verify that their orders and cheques match in terms of products ordered, money collected, etc. They should then total up their sales and remit their individual order form (page 5 of the colour brochure), and Payment Collection Envelope to the Fundraiser Chairperson. Based on those individual forms, the Chairperson can then complete the Master Order Form. You will notice on the Master Order Form that there are spaces provided for you to order FREE Delivery Bags and Planting Instructions - you should order sufficient numbers of these items to accommodate all your customers. After completing this form, the Chairperson should then send one cheque or money order (made payable to Veseys Bulbs) in the enclosed postage paid return envelope. Please make sure that the address to which you’d like to have the products shipped is on the Master Order Form and is an address where deliveries can be received during business hours (it is best to avoid P.O.Boxes as you will be left a card and have to pick up the product from Canada Post). Make certain to have your orders in the mail in time to reach Veseys no later than October 15th.
4. To determine your profits, simply deduct the "Total Amount Due Veseys" from the "Total Amount Collected." Congratulations, you've just earned 50% of what you've sold!
5. Veseys will process your order and start shipping in approximately mid-September. Orders will be shipped on a first come - first served basis. Your product will be packed in shipping carton(s) for your group to sort and distribute. When you receive your cartons of product, an information sheet will be included which explains how to get organized before filling each customer’s order. Each package will be clearly marked with a colour label showing a photograph of the product along with the item number. Your members can then compile each individual order using the free delivery bags we provide and distribute them to their customers. Should you have an early winter season, be sure to have your order in early as we do ship out in the order that orders are received.
