Gardeners’ Forum: “chomped sunflower seedlings”
Back to Gardeners’ Forumchomped sunflower seedlings
Posted by Denise on Sunday, May 11, 2008 2:25 pm ADTLast & this year when I plant sunflower from seed they get all - without exception - chomped off & now I know it's not cutworms, because it's too systematic (even the ones started in big pots & put on the ground got chomped)& the leaves have disappeared & are not pulled underground. I now suspect either a bird, or a vole (field mouse). Any opinions?
