Posted by peihobby on Friday, July 11, 2008 10:41 am ADThi, a neighbor of mine brought 2 climbing roses a few years ago. the first year they bloomed well but for the past 3 years they have not bloomed at all. any ideas of how to get them to bloom, they get plenty of sun.

Posted by Vanessa on Monday, July 14, 2008 4:01 pm ADTHave they been pruned? True climbing roses often bloom on last year's wood, so pruning in spring or fall might be preventing blooms. Any pruning should be done right after flowering.
