Posted by Howard Harvey on Wednesday, April 4, 2001 12:51 am ADTI am making soil blocks with the following -- 1/3 each of composted sheep manure ( for mild fertilizer ), a potting soil mix (containing no actual earth) and MODUANO starting mixture which has some lime, sand and the other ingredients in any soilless mix, but again no actual earth. I have used the composted sheep manure for several years for indoor seed starting with no contamination problem.
