Posted by Meg Turner on Thursday, May 31, 2001 3:41 pm ADTEvery year when my rhubarb comes up, after a couple of weeks, I get huge seed stalks. (on both plants) Are you supposed to cut them down, or just leave them? Any help?

Posted by Howard Harvey on Thursday, May 31, 2001 6:52 pm ADTYou don't want the seeds to take strength from the plant so get rid of the seeds. You can cut the stalk out down at the bottom, but I prefer just to rub the seeds off the seed stalk -- same result!!
