  • Starting up the greenhouse

We have bought a small greenhouse and plan to start seeds and bulbs in it. We plan to use fibre pots. When is the best time to plant the seeds. At what temperature should we keep the greenhouse, we have bought a radiator/heater especially for it. Also we store the begonias with great success over the winter, when should they be planted to start their growth in the greenhouse. We will then transplant to garden containers.

I'm not sure what your last frost date is. The seed packages ususally tell you how many weeks from your last frost date, but some things I will start a little earlier for a bigger plant. Now that March is upon us, you can start your begonias now.

Thank you for your reply Sue... I just checked the forum today. Task for this week, get the begonias out of the peatmoss and start gardening!
