Gardeners’ Forum: “Damaged bur oak tree”
Back to Gardeners’ ForumDamaged bur oak tree
Posted by Cathy Schrader on Friday, May 2, 2008 12:57 pm ADTLast spring we planed a small bur oak tree and it was growing very well until an animal of some sort chewed it in the fall and there was about a foot of it left in the ground. We assumed it was a goner til this spring when new buds started for form. Is it possible that this small bit left over will still grow into a tree?
