Posted by greg on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 7:03 PM ADTI went to the local Home Depot and found the very last tomatillo plant available. After doing some research online found that I needed another plant to be successful, and of course, there were none to be had. I got a tomatillo from Wal-mart, extracted the seeds and have about a dozen growing in my garden at the present time. I am beginning to see the fruit begin to form on the plants now and am hoping they will fill out and be salsa verde before the summer is over. I live in zone 8, Destin, fl.
