Back to Gardeners’ Forum? Best Vegetables for growing in a green house?
Posted by Van on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 3:10 PM ADTMy family is moving to Inuvik (we are talking North, North, NORTH!) The town has a greenhouse and you can rent plots. My step mother - a chef by trade - will be taking full advantage of it. So for Christmas (in October - don't ask - hahaha) I wanted to give her some seeds to plant. Any suggestions for small plot green house veggies? Thanks, Vanessa

I would highly recommend the Veseys tomato and cucumber seed that is specifically listed for greenhouse use. I have also had very good results with their blushing beauty peppers in my cold greenhouse. In a heated greenhouse, i'm sure the results would be positive. Good luck with it all! Darlene
