Hi there. I have a question about overwintering bell peppers. I grew them in a small greenhouse for the first time this year and had a bumper crop. As some fruit still had not ripened by early October, I did some research and discovered that they are actually tender perennials and that I can bring them in for the winter. I have done this and the remaining perppers are are ripening nicely in a sunny window in my living room! I now have two questions: first, do peppers have a dormant period like house plants? Second, I read that in the late spring, I can plant them out or pot up and put them back in the greenhouse, so they can fruit again. Is this all true? Thank you for any information.
