Posted by David Kerney on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 9:58 pm ADTI live in Salta, Argentina. I have planted several tomato plants in contains on the back porch. They have been grow fine. They are between 6 to 8 inches high. This week several of them are rotting at the stem right above the soil level. I can't figure out what the problem maybe. I have pile the soil up higher around the stem.
