Posted by Mike Larsen on Sunday, January 11, 2009 1:33 PM ASTI have a 40 ft maple tree...the trunk up the branches ( about 4ft) has split approximately 5-9 inches and is about 4ft in lenght. The part of the truck that has split is on the Northeast side of the tree. Any idea as the cause... it has been like this for two years.
