Posted by VAnessa on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 4:23 PM ADTHi Heather, No, moss itself isn't really harmful, but moss growth is usually an indication of very acidic, compacted soil so I think the answer is to add some lime each spring and fall and try to avoid walking on the soil.
