  • Forsythia - leaves turn brown, wilt, and fall off

Posted by James Perkins on Sunday, July 5, 2009 9:51 PM ADT

Hi, My forsythias at my house thrive, however, I planted a few at my cottage and after they begin the season looking fine some of leaves turn brown, wilt, and fall off. Any idea why and how to stop the problem?

my Forsythia shrubs - all mature healthy shrubs - bloomed beautifully this spring and then when flowering was finished and new leaves started the turned brown dried up and fell off - some new growth but stunted and appear to be coming in misshapen.
