Posted by Laurie on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 5:55 pm ADTI planted a Larch this spring and it was growing really well lots of new stock and needles - Now the older needles are turning brown, do larch loose their needles in the fall? or is it dying?

As the tree gets older the needles are more golden yellow and beautiful. Just water it in as you would any new tree. Next spring you will be quite surprised. Cheryl
