Hi I live in southern alberta, and I am having a problem with my zuchinni plants in my garden. The plants look healthy, and there are lots of bloosms, but the zuchinnis are rotting from the bloosm end. Does anyone know why, I am very frustrated.

I have zucchini plants in my garden, they have grown large. The bottom stems look like they froze, which they did not, but have turns rotten and beige/brown in color. Some zucchinis (2) were delicious, other new growth from flowers seem a rotten, only some. What could the cause of this be?

I usually take the blossom off after it has been pollinated, we have had a very wet year so prop the fruit up off the ground as well. C

Your zucchini plans need calcium. Mix 1 Tbs. of Epsom salts with a gallon of water and water the plans.
