Hi Sherry, I am a new gardener and I found lots of great information in the local library. We just moved into a new house and I pruned an old rose bush down to about 8 inches from the ground first thing in the spring. It bloomed beautifully for the first time in many years (according to my neighbours). Lots of luck, Carol

I'm wondering, because of the extended warm climate this year(right up until Dec practically), my Hybrid Roses started to bloom again thinking it was spring! Now there is lots of snow on the ground & it's very cold, my roses still have huge buds on them! What do I have to do in the spring to save them? Help! Tanya
