Posted by Jennifer Halliday on Saturday, April 20, 2002 11:10 AM ADTI wanted to try boxed gardening for my vegetables this year, in the hopes to have more sucess. I read about in a magazine, but have since lost the issue. I believed that it is just basic raised beds surrounded by 2x4, but i was wondering if anyone had tried it or new of the layout to construct it, ie. where each vegetable went so that I could recieve the maximum veg. per area. We have a very large area that can be planted so space isn't a issue, thanks jenn

Also I find it easier to keep the weeds under control. On one of the raised beds we made hoops and plastic can go over if the danger of frost exists. That is our early salad raised bed.
