Hardy to Zone 5 with protection
Often called Maraposa Lily. These bulbs like very well-drained soil and a sheltered, sunny or partly shaded location. Set bulbs 3"-4" deep and 4"-6" apart in clusters. A fine cut flower in late spring/early summer; stems are 12"-14" tall. Can also be grown in greenhouse or sunroom.
