The elegant spikes of starry blue flowers are fine companions for any of the May-flowering tulips. They are most effective in groups of 5 or more. Plant in sun or partial shade, 3"-5" deep and 4"-6" apart. Camassia grows well in ordinary garden soil but adapts well to damp soil and can be used along streams or in damp woodlands. Once established, Camassia does not like to be moved.
