General Description:
Erect shrub with ovate-elliptic scalloped to toothed leaves. Free flowering through summer. Fruits are oblong red-purple. Suitable for hedging in frost free locations.
Cultivation:
Plant in fertile, moist but well drained soil in full morning sun or part afternoon shade. Fertilize monthly during the growing season. Plant the base of the stem 2” below the soil surface and mulch well in winter. Do not over-water during winter.
Propagation:
Sow seeds at 15-24ºC in spring. Root softwood cuttings in spring or semi-ripe cuttings in late summer with bottom heat.

Spider mites, scale, thrips, whiteflies, fuchsia gall, aphids, root knot nematodes, rust, grey mold, crown gall, crown and root rot.
