Gaillardia x granddiflora
Also called Blanketflower. Prefers full sun. Tolerates poor, dry soil. Short lived in heavy soil. Plant 12" apart with the crown (where the roots meet the stems) 1” below soil surface. Do not over fertilize. Deadhead regularly. Divide every 2-3 years in spring. Cutflowers last almost 2 weeks and dries well if hung upside down. Hardy to zone 3.
