General Description:
Clump forming, mounding perennial with pincushion-like flowers that bloom from summer until fall. This perennial has a long blooming period, with flowers that are ideal for cutflowers or drying. It is attractive to bees and butterflies. Ideally located in a cottage garden, mixed borders, rock garden or wildflower garden.
Cultivation:
Plant in a full sun location in moderately fertile, well drained, neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Deadhead to prolong flowering, however seed heads are also attractive. Divide every 3 years to maintain plant vigour.
Propagation:
Sow seeds in containers in a cold frame as soon as the seed is ripe. Divide crowns in spring.
