Perennial - Zones 4-9
Start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before planting outside, in peat pots. Sow seed on the surface, provide light and warmth and they should sprout in 15-30 days. Handle seedlings gently. Transplant outside in late spring into full sun or light shade. Prefers rich, moist well-drained soil. Water and deadhead frequently to prolong the bloom period. Plants are slow to recover after divided so it is best to start plants from seed.
