Best direct seeded after all risk of frost. Sow seed ½ to 1 inch deep and about 2-4 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 6-8 inches apart. Planting in blocks of short rows is best. Requires warmth, moisture and full sun for best results. Mulching is beneficial. Harvest for crafts when the entire, colourful tassel has emerged.
