Start seed 10-12 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds on surface of well-drained growing medium and cover very lightly with vermiculite. Cover seed tray with a clear plastic dome to retain heat until germinaton occurs, usually in 7-14 days. Transplant when the second set of leaves has developed. Can be direct sown in the fall. Prefers full sun to full shade. Blooms first year. Grows 6-8" high and 10-12" wide. Zones 5-9.
