Nigella damascena
Start inside 6-8 weeks before last frost in peat pots. Direct seeding in early spring is often more successful once the soil warms to 65-70°F. When planting, cover the seed lightly. Transplant after last frost into a sunny location 6-8" apart. Water and deadhead regularly. Often self-seeds.
