Annual Statice is one of the most popular everlasting flowers. Start inside 6-8 weeks before last frost. Cover seed lightly and provide warmth of 18-24°C (65-75°F). May also be direct seeded after last frost. Transplant outside after last frost into a full sun location. Prefers light, well drained soil. Statice does well in hot locations, but must be well-watered. Harvest in mid-morning after the dew has dried. Hang bunches upside down in a dark, dry place.
