Pampas Grass 'Pumilla'
Cortaderia sellonan
Hardy in Zones 7-10
Tender Perennial. Plant out in early spring when soil is cool and a light frost is still possible. Performs best in fertile to average, well-drained soil and should be planted in full or afternoon sun. Once established it is somewhat drought tolerant. Leave standing over the winter before cutting it back hard in mid-spring. Resistant to deer and rabbits. Where not hardy it can be over wintered in a planter somewhere dry, cool, and frost free.
