High Bush Cranberry
Viburnum opulus
Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Prefers loams with consistent moisture, but tolerates a wide range of soils. Prune as needed immediately after flowering. Grows to 10’-15’ tall and wide. It features lacecap white flowers in spring and drooping clusters of cranberry-like red berries in fall. Fruit is edible but not very sweet. Zone 3.
