This Maple can be trained as a single-stemmed tree or a multi-stemmed shrub. Reddish-purple leaves turn blazing red in autumn. Usually grows 10 feet high and wide but can get 26 feet tall with age. Prefers full sun to part shade and moist, organic, rich, well-drained soils. Prune only to accent natural shape.
