This variety stunned the gardening world when it was introduced, because it's among the first of the daylilies to bloom in June and one of the last to finish in September. All summer it produces masses of golden yellow flowers with ruffled petals. Each flower lasts at least 6 hours a day. Dwarf plants grow only 12-24" tall; excellent in borders, beds and containers. No. 1 size plants.
