The best yellow clematis is also easy to grow from seed! 'Helios' displays hundreds of unusual 2.5 inch nodding yellow flowers that resemble little lanterns before they open fully. Flowers form attractive seed pods that can be used in dried arrangements. Blooms mid-summer to frost. Full sun to part shade. Usually blooms the first year from seed. Grows quickly to heights of 7-10 feet. Approximately 50 seeds per package.
