These large flowering, hybrid Clematis are 'Queen of the Garden'. Each flower is a striking display, with it's unusual colouration and shape. Clematis turns a boring lamp post into a pillar of grace and color. On an arbor or trellis, Clematis is the garden's perfect focal point. Our varieties bloom abundantly, and some produce flowers up to 6-8" across. Clematis season is June to September, depending on the variety. They like full sun, well drained soil and strong support; they perform best when their roots are kept shaded by perennials, shrubs or ground covers. Hardy in zones 4-8.

Please note: We ship a heavy two-year old bare root plant, with the exception of the Mulit Blue Clematis which is shipped as a 1 year old plant. Our plants are extremely vigorous and have a much stronger root system than those you might see growing in a pot in the local garden center, which are plants grown from cuttings and need at least another year before they will produce as many runners and flowers as ours.
