Meconopsis betonicifolia
Large poppy-like vivid flowers with hairy textured leaves. One of the most beautiful blue perennials. Originally from the Himalyan mountains. Best in semi-shaded spots. Avoid sun during the warmest hours in the warmer zones. Prefers humusy, well-drained soil. Avoid winter wetness and mulch in the summer to keep base cooler. Good for naturalizing or wildflower gardens. We offer well-rooted plants in 4 inch pots.
