You can place one of these Self-Watering Conversion Kits in the bottom of almost any style of pot. Just adjust the height of the filling tube and cover the reservoir with soil. Roots stay moist without daily watering. The gallon Reservoir fits inside a 16-20” diameter pot and holds 1 gallon of water. The Quart Reservoir fits inside 10-14” diameter pots and holds 1 quart. A water level indicator is included.

Bottom of base - 6" diameter X 2 3/4" high
Fanned top of base - 11" diameter
Watering spout - 7" height from fanned top of base (or 9 3/4" from bottom of base).
1 Gallon Unit
Bottom of base - 9.5" diameter X 4 1/4" high
Fanned top of base - 14.5" diameter
Watering spout - 12" height from fanned top of base (16 1/4" from bottom of base).

Self Watering Conversion Kit

My pots are not shaped like the picture above (they are tall & thin). I just put 30 Litres of soil in my pot (it's 13x13" square and 16" high). Could you give me the dimensions of the Quart & Gallon Reservoir ( height & diameter) please? This will help me determine how many of each size I will require for all my pots.

1 Quart Unit
Bottom of base - 6" diameter X 2 3/4" high
Fanned top of base - 11" diameter
Watering spout - 7" height from fanned top of base (or 9 3/4" from bottom of base).
1 Gallon Unit
Bottom of base - 9.5" diameter X 4 1/4" high
Fanned top of base - 14.5" diameter
Watering spout - 12" height from fanned top of base (16 1/4" from bottom of base).
The floating water level indicator can be cut to fit either unit.
