Touchstone Gold Beet

A major improvement in yellow beets. Thouchstone Gold has much better germination, seedling vigour, and more uniform roots, whilte still having bright yellow colour and sweet beet flavour. We were very impressed with this variety in trials. Yellow beets are great in the kitchen as they don't stain everything red, can be ued in salads and cooked with other vegetables. Compact tops are light green in colour with bright yellow stems and veins. Matures in 55-60 days.
- Beet Tip
- Soil temperature should be 18-24ºC for optimal germination. Thin seedlings 1 inch apart for greens and 3 inches apart for summer use of roots.
