Supersweet Varieties (SH2)
Augmented supersweet varieties are major improvements over older varieties. Much better corn flavour and more tender kernels, while maintaining exceptional sweetness and wide harvest window.
These new SH2 types also have much better vigour and better emergence. They still require isolation from other types to avoid cross pollination, and caution should be used when planting in cold soil.
Mirai Supersweets
An outstanding class of sweet corn all on its own with delightfully juicy and sweet kernels that are second to none. They combine the flavour of SU, tenderness of SE and the sweetness of SH2. Slow to convert sugar to starch even after storing in the fridge for a week when left in the husk.
