Garlic culture is very similar to that of onions. Planting and harvesting instructions are on the package. It is important to pick garlic as soon as it is ready so that the new cloves do not have time to grow roots. Leave the tops on, do not wash or separate the cloves, and dry the bulbs in a warm, shady place until the covering is papery.
