Red tinged cripshead. Rich green colours with bright red tips are flavourful and light tasting. This Batavia lettuce has a frilly leaf, the fine crispness of a head lettuce, but with a loose romaine form. It forms a large, open head that has excellent resistance to bolting and maintains a crunchy texture. Resistant to tipburn, downey mildew, and lettuce mosaic virus. Matures 60 days from transplant. Approx. 250 seeds/pkg.
