Probably the best leaf lettuce on the market. Flavor is delicate with almost no bitterness even in latter stages of harvest. Simpson Elite grows quickly, has crisp texture and attractive medium-light green curled leaves but with one extra very important quality... bolt resistance. Maturity is about 50 days.
