Tortoiseshell Spinach
Beautiful dark green, oval shaped smooth leaves. Tortoiseshell makes a very nice baby leaf and can also be used full size and bunching. A slow rate of growth makes it great for spring and summer planting and less susceptible to bolting. Upright, smooth leaves make for easy harvest and cleaning. This hybrid has DMR 1-7 resistance. Matures in 50 days.

- Spinach thrives in cool weather, so plant as soon as the soil can be worked. For a fall crop, plant again in late August or early September.
