    I have lots of wild portulaca in my garden,it came with a load of manure.I can't get rid of it,boy!is it spreading. HELP!What can I do?

      You could try a non-specific herbicide. What this means is that it will kill any plant it comes in contact with. I use Round-up, but you have to be very careful not to get it anywhere on the plants you want to keep. It will kill the entire plant, right down to the root if you do. The good news is that you need very little to kill a plant, so you can use it sparingly to avoid killing the plants you want to keep.
