I also have calla lillies that I would like to save.Anything special I should do to these bulbs before packing them for the winter? Thanks.

I am on the southern west coast and many out here just leave the bulbs where they are over the winter because we generally don't have frost. But I am originally from NS and when my aunt had her beautiful (and award winning!) dahlia garden she used to take the bulbs out and place them in plant trays (the kind you get at nurseries) in her basement coldroom where it was cool but not too cold. Hope that helps, it would be a shame to loose your bulbs.
