    The Darwin tulip is a true perennial tulip and it is recommended that it be planted at least 10" deep for best results. Would this also apply to other type of tulips such as the parrot ,double and bunch types

      I believe that tulip bulbs should be planted about 2-3 times the diameter of the bulb deep. I believe I read this somewhere, but if someone knows differently please correct me because I will be planting my own tulips over the next couple weeks.
