  Since I have to live in an apt for the time being, I have a young Paula Red apple tree I put in a 2.5 foot diameter pot. After purchasing it in the early spring from a nursary, it grew very well. Any suggestions as to what is best for having continued growth for the next year or so? Has anybody ever had any luck with keeping apple trees in pots for a few years?
