I am looking for a perennial that trails (over rock walls, etc) for shade. Any suggestions?

Snow in summer is ideal for a rock wall.

I have creeping jenny growing very nicely in deep shade. PS. It can be very invasive.

I would suggest periwinkle, lamium, snow on the mountain or bugleweed. Creeping thyme is doing well for me in the shade too.

need something for extreme shade under giant maple. Grass will not grow. something that stays relatively low, will withstand walking on, and prefferably something that will spread very very quick over large space.
