Posted by megan on Thursday, May 10, 2007 9:51 am ADTThe first thing I thought of was the annual Burning Bush...or Kochia I think is the other name. I love them, they look super good even into the fall, as they turn a bright red...but they are only an annual. I am thinking a Privet, would be good as you can prune them to keep them the height you want. It is a shrub. If you check out your local greenhouse they should have a section for just hedgeing....most shrubs used for hedgeing can be pruned to the height you would like.

Posted by Carol on Sunday, September 16, 2007 8:38 pm ADTI have a huge yard with a messy field of weeds on both sides, so I wanted to plant a hegde down both sides. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what kind of plant I should use. The distance is about 100 feet on both sides, so I need something that does not require a lot of care
