My husband and I will be planting lupins on a slope - total footage is 5550 sq. ft. It was suggested that we seed red clover with the lupins because of the size of the seeding area. Because of this, what amount of lupin seeds and/or red clover do you recommend. We will be planting by mid-May. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

5 lbs of double cut red clover and 2-4 lbs of lupin seeds ($83 per lb. is expensive so the ammount of lupin seeds 'depends on your pocketbook') Hope this is of some help.......it will look stunning, as well as low maintenance!!! Johanna

I planted lupins in a flower bed last year but I can't identify the seedlings this spring. Anyone have a picture of the plant when it first emerges?
