I live on PEI and am looking to know when I can start to plant seeds outside. Isn't there an old "rule of thumb" about the first week in June. I started some inside last night but will be starting the remainder outside once I can get past the "frost" . thanks

depends on the seed some like to be planted before last frost others once the frost danger is gone. I live in ch'town and have already planted some seeds. However, pei's last from date is around june 10th. But depending on what part u are in you might be alright. if u like a low area i'd wait, low areas get hit by frost before high areas

After the full moon in june is a good time to plant, this year the full moon is on may 31 so the first week of june should be fine.I would moniter the weather just in case.
